World Telemark Day

On Sunday 1st March the Scottish Telemark Club enjoyed a days skiing in Glenshee. The weather forecast was terrible but in fact we had a very good day, maybe everyone was expecting it to be worse. We had a mixture of bright sunshine, howling gales, fog and snow.  How else would we know we were in Scotland! It was great to see so many telemarkers on the hill, we think there were about 35 of us at one point. A big thank you to Glenshee ski centre who offered us a discounted pass and to Braemar Mountain Sports who lent us some NTN kit to try out on the day.  Now the club will start getting ready for the indoor series which kicks of in Manchester in May.
